In 2002, the Czech Institute for Accreditation granted to Polymer Institute Brno the Certificate of Accreditation authorizing the use of the status of an accredited testing laboratory according to the standard ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025.

From 2024, the regime of flexible scope of accreditation applies to selected tests of accredited testing laboratory, enabling the modification of existing tests - see:
